The winery, completed in 2007, has become a worthy “home” for the grapes grown on the estate. The grape processing, fermentation, storage and vaulted maturing cellar, as well as the warehouse are organically connected to each other in the “stomach” of Kishegy. Thanks to the underground climate, the near-constant temperature helps to maintain the quality of the wines for many years.
The winery was built into the hill to be in harmony with the environment and not to disrupt the ecological balance.

Making white wine
Making rosé wine
Making red wine
Sun-aged bunches are placed in the fermentation tank or fermentation vat after destemming. Depending on the variety and quality, the mash is fermented with the grape skin for 3-6 weeks, so that our red wines are rich in color and tannins. After fermentation, it is pressed. The lighter red wines are aged in a stainless steel tank, the full-bodied, heavier red wines are aged in 225 l Barrique barrels. We consider it is important to make malolactic fermentation in all red wines. Because this is the only way they will be velvety and delicious.

Very high quality wine, both white and red, and a fantastic lunch Hungarian “kalte platte”. Beautiful place!

The wines of József Pócz, like the winemaker himself: friendly, talkative, honest, heartwarming. Talking on the terrace about wine and life… The feeling is priceless, “for others there is a mastercard” 🙂

Beautiful terrace with an amazing view. The owner was lovely and the wines were delicious and very reasonably priced!

It was a great and unforgettable evening in a fantastic environment, with panoramic views, wonderful wines, gastronomic trinkets! I recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and forget about everyday life, you will succeed here!
