Our History
Our story began in 1991, but the attachment to viticulture and winemaking can be traced back to several generations in the family. The grape harvesting experiences of my childhood defined and grounded my adult life. I started my studies at the Jászberény Horticultural High School followed by the Gyöngyös Horticultural College, where I graduated in 1975 with a degree in viticulture. I spent my internship at the Balatonboglár State Farm, where I later worked as a consultant. From 1984 to 1990 I was the chief gardener of the Balatonlelle Production Cooperative.
After the change of regime, I started building the estate, which today deals not only with viticulture and winemaking, but also with hospitality. My children, Szilvia, Attila and my partner, Katalin, help me in this work. I hope that when my grandchildren grow up, they also love this lifestyle.

Very high quality wine, both white and red, and a fantastic lunch Hungarian “kalte platte”. Beautiful place!

The wines of József Pócz, like the winemaker himself: friendly, talkative, honest, heartwarming. Talking on the terrace about wine and life… The feeling is priceless, “for others there is a mastercard” 🙂

Beautiful terrace with an amazing view. The owner was lovely and the wines were delicious and very reasonably priced!

It was a great and unforgettable evening in a fantastic environment, with panoramic views, wonderful wines, gastronomic trinkets! I recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and forget about everyday life, you will succeed here!
